At Zero Expeditions, we approach this eclipse differently. It is not simply about reaching a location, setting up a tripod and waiting. It is about preparing every detail, knowing the terrain, testing the equipment and being clear about what we want to achieve when totality arrives. Our base will be a private luxury villa in Marbella, with a small group of participants and a programme combining technical preparation, astrophotography, Mediterranean landscapes and some of the most remarkable scenery in Andalusia.
From 31 July to 3 August 2027, we will experience a photographic journey centred around the total solar eclipse. Preparation begins at our private villa in Marbella with a complete equipment check and a full simulation of the eclipse session. On 1 August we will also photograph the Mediterranean landscape. On 2 August comes the main event: we will travel to our selected location in Cádiz province to photograph totality, with approximately 4 minutes and 10 seconds of totality expected from our chosen area. After the eclipse, we will make our way back towards Marbella with a photographic session at El Torcal de Antequera. We will finish the experience on 3 August with a final sunrise on the coast.
