Vietnam and Cambodia · September 2027

17 Days 16 Nights

There is a moment in Sapa, before the sun climbs high enough to burn off the mist, when the terraced rice paddies look like staircases of gold rising toward the sky. That is September. We designed this trip for exactly that.

This expedition connects four radically different visual worlds: northern Vietnam with its terraces and ethnic minorities, the most photographed bay in the world, central Vietnam of artisans and lantern-lit rivers, and the Khmer temples that time has returned to the jungle. Fifteen days with a dedicated Zero photographic guide, small groups and access to communities that conventional circuits never reach.

The dates are chosen with precision: we capture Sapa’s golden harvest at its peak, we avoid the crowded Angkor equinox (which gathers more than 36,000 visitors in three days), and we stay clear of the Tet period. This is a trip designed for photographers who want images they could never get on a conventional tour.

17-day, 16-night photographic expedition across Vietnam and Cambodia, from August 29th to September 14th, 2027: departure from Madrid on August 29th, 15 days on the ground in Vietnam and Cambodia (August 30th to September 13th) and return to Madrid on the night of the 13th or during the 14th. Five destinations: Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Hoi An and Siem Reap. Small group of maximum 8 photographers, to guarantee personal attention, quality and the best photographic experience, accompanied by a Zero guide throughout the entire trip, plus the local guide at each destination. Accommodation in 4★ hotels, partial board (daily breakfast + lunches on tour days + dinners on the Halong cruise) and all ground transport included. International flights and domestic flights (Hanoi-Da Nang and Da Nang-Siem Reap) are not included. An optional photographic session with the fishing community of the Thu Bồn river (€100 per person, to be finalised on site) can be added, coordinated directly by Zero Expeditions with compensation paid to the local participants.
