We’ll meet at Madrid–Barajas Airport and head south toward the wild heart of Jaén. The road winds through olive groves and granite hills until we reach Andújar, gateway to the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park.

After settling into our accommodation, we’ll share a relaxed dinner and talk about the days ahead—our hides, the light, and what makes photographing the Iberian lynx so special.

After an early breakfast, we’ll head out to our first morning hide session. The forest will still be wrapped in mist, the air filled with bird calls. We’ll quietly wait, cameras ready.

At midday we’ll return to Restaurante Los Pinos to enjoy traditional Andalusian food—local olive oil, game stews, and fresh bread—before taking a short rest.
In the afternoon, we’ll head back to the hide for another four hours of focused observation and photography, waiting for that silent, elegant movement that tells you the lynx is near.

A new dawn, a new chance. By now, the group will move like a single rhythm—anticipating the light, reading the tracks. We’ll spend the morning once again in the hides, perfecting compositions, and learning to wait with intent.

Lunch and rest again at Los Pinos, followed by our final afternoon session. Often, these last hours bring the most magic: golden light and calm silence where time seems to slow down.

We’ll close the day with dinner, stories, and perhaps a shared sense of awe for what we’ve witnessed.

After breakfast, we’ll start our journey back to Madrid, carrying more than just images—memories of a species that has survived against the odds, and of the landscapes that still protect it.
