Arrival and meeting

Arrival by train in Seville. Santa Justa station will be our meeting point, where we will meet the entire group and pick up the vehicle to begin the journey to Nerva. There we will set up our base camp, staying in a hotel for the entire weekend. En route, we will make a stop to photograph the vibrant Andalusian sunset.

Get Up Early!

Getting up early will be key to taking advantage of the first light of day at the selected locations. The unique environment of Riotinto, with its mineral formations, intense colors, and landscapes shaped by centuries of mining activity, allows for photographic work throughout the day.

Textures!

On Sunday morning we will focus on exploring texture photography. We will visit different locations along the more than 60 kilometers of winding formations that make up our field of work, searching for the most visually and photographically interesting patterns.

We will visit classic spots where strong color contrasts create powerful compositions, as well as abandoned sections of the mine that preserve particularly striking structures and surfaces. These areas will allow us to work calmly and capture unique images of this remarkable landscape.

Other Local Places

An early start again in search of new textures and light; this time we will focus on cracks and reflections. After breakfast, we will review the work produced, offering practical advice to all participants on how to edit this type of photograph.

Late in the morning we will head to Seville to catch the afternoon train back home.
